Back Home – Part I – Barstow

So I came back to San Francisco on Friday. All I did was try to recuperate from the hectic 4 days I had. I finally feel a bit better. I had an amazing time. I’ll write every day as one part so it’s easier to understand.

on day 1 we left San Francisco to go to Barstow. I’ve been bitching about how small of a town Barstow is for a while but what I saw was far more worse than I imagined. The town consisted of two inns, one outlet mall and a bunch of fast food joints. I seriously did not see one house. We stayed at days inn and had a lot of fun just goofing around.

on the way to Barstow we stopped at Cupertino (also known as the town where Apple Inc. is).  We didn’t get to see Apple but it was a cute town and we got some snacks from a place called marina foods.

It was almost a 10 hour ride to Barstow. My ipod’s battery died so all I could do was take pictures. The secnery was increadibly beautiful. California is beautiful. I really didn’t expect it to look like this. All my life all I could think of when I heard California was Hollywood, well this trip thought me better.
